We have many permanent residents, including ponies, deer, goats, sheep, geese, chickens, parrots and ducks, as well as about 30 resident cats, who are either too old or unsuitable for re-homing.

The shelter relies on charitable donations and you can help us by sponsoring an animal house or an individual animal of your choice. As a sponsor, you will receive a Sponsorship Certificate, which includes a colour photograph of chosen animal or animal house, and a special letter, for only £10 for one year's sponsorship - at the end of the year, you may wish to continue supporting the same animal, or choose another of our residents. Your sponsorship money will go towards your sponsored animal's costs in respect of vet bills, feeding or bedding.

This makes a unique birthday or Christmas present for children and adults alike.
