Muffin needs an operation and although we have already raised enough money for her operation we still need to raise money for her follow up care and any un-expected vet bills. To help us raise money a local artist jumped at the chance to help.
![]() Chocolate Muffin Artist Les McGarrity. "As a child I always enjoyed drawing and when at school I opted to do GCE Art. Although I would have loved to go to Art College it was not to be. Many times I thought about returning to college to learn to paint using watercolours, but due to other commitments I never found the time. |

I have been painting now for three years and still attend evening classes at Itchen College.
After having painted a picture of a dog, sadly no longer with us, I was told about the plight of Chocolate Muffin and was asked if I would paint a picture of her and donate it to be sold, as an additional way to attempt to raise funds for her badly needed operation and after care. I immediately asked for photos of Chocolate Muffin, found a suitable pose and the rest is history."
